The amount of tax due that your software figured does not match my calculations. How did you get your figure?

There are some circumstances where the tax table does not apply.

An example would be if you have any capital gains income or if you incurred an early withdrawal penalty.

Please check carefully to be sure you do not have one of these special circumstances by referring to your 1040 Schedule 1 and comparing your form to our 1040 side by side. If you still think there is an error, contact customer service and we will be glad to help you find the discrepancy.
