Where do I enter my mortgage interest paid?
Enter your mortgage interest paid during the tax year, go to the Deductions section of the return. Select the "itemized deductions", then "help me decide". Proceed to the section for "Interest you paid". If you received a form 1098, Mortgage Interest Statement, enter the value to the correct space. If you did not receive a form 1098, there is an entry location indicating you did not receive a form.
