Non-leasable Guidelines
Items that are intangible, consumable, or items that may quickly lose value.
Items permanently attached to a home, vehicle, or appliance.
Items prohibited from lease-to-own state law e.g., insurance to cover the merchandise.
Items principally used for commercial, wholesale, or investment purposes.
Items that may require licensing, a title, registration, or are subject to stringent regulation, e.g.,
motorized vehicles, trailers, watercraft, drones.
Items that create excessive risk, e.g., weapons, ammunition, archery supplies, hover boards, certain
medical or drug related devices and supplies.

Leasable Items
Not all items in the following categories may be leasable. To ensure an item is leasable, please
refer to Katapult Non-leasable Guidelines. Katapult allows a variety of durable goods to be
leased. However, not all items are available for lease purchase, including items that may be
dangerous such as firearms, highly consumable goods like food and clothing, and items that
may not be returned to us. This list is not exhaustive but provides a good guideline to align
with Katapult business decisions.
